Beef Motsunabe (Offal Hot Pot)
牛もつ鍋
[For 1 person] This is authentic Hakata beef motsunabe, started by a couple in the home of motsunabe, Fukuoka, and loved for over 30 years. We are particular about the original soy sauce flavor of motsunabe, use the finest Kyushu-born black wagyu beef directly from Fukuoka for the motsu, and hand-cut only the best parts of the cabbage, one leaf at a time. *For orders of 2 or more people, please order 2 or more portions.
A representative local dish of Fukuoka/Hakata. A hot pot dish made by simmering fresh beef offal (motsu) with cabbage, leeks, etc., in a special soy sauce-based broth. Characterized by the sweetness of the plump offal fat and the broth infused with the umami of the vegetables. Cooked and eaten hot at the table.

Nanokawa Special Spicy Mentaiko

Luxuriously made with fresh Hokkaido pollock roe. A masterpiece marinated for 168 hours in a proprietary blend of chili peppers and sake, using no water. Mentaiko for souvenirs is also available.
A Hakata, Fukuoka specialty. Pollock roe pickled in a chili pepper-based marinade. It has a spicy kick and the rich umami of fish roe, making it a perfect accompaniment to drinks or rice.
